At Brown Chiropractic, we go above and beyond to make sure your chiropractic experience is exceptional.
We make your comfort and ease our top priority. Our office is bright, clean and inviting with a healing family atmosphere. Our staff and chiropractors are friendly and compassionate. Many of our patients linger to chat with our staff on their way out and laughter is a common sound in our hallways. Multiple patients have described their visits like being greeted by an old friend.
Our attention to detail with our examination and care plans is unparalleled. We know we treat people, not conditions, so we spend extra time getting to know you, your lifestyle and goals for care. Our examination process combines a traditional orthopedic examination, chiropractic spinal analysis and functional movement screening all dictated by the patient’s specific condition and needs. With a more thorough approach we can accurately diagnose the condition or tissue producing your pain as well as the movement dysfunction causing that tissue to be irritated or injured in the first place. This results in more efficient and effective care plans with your goals guiding the way.
Each chiropractor brings his/her own unique expertise, to provide you a full spectrum of offerings under one roof. This includes multiple spinal and extremity adjusting techniques to fit all conditions and preferences, varied manual muscle relaxation techniques, exercise and rehab approaches, postural correction, physiotherapies (ultrasound, cold laser, interferential current) and nutritional counseling. When we leverage the right therapies for your specific condition and individual needs, we get faster, better outcomes. Once we get you out of pain, we teach you how to stay out of pain.
We know you have a busy life and as much as we feel like we are an important part of your day, we don’t want you to feel like you’re spending all day at the office. You will find our staff are exceptionally trained to make your check in, check out and scheduling a breeze. We offer electronic reminders to keep you on time and have reasonable schedules that keep the chiropractor on time. A real person is always happy to help you through phone, text or email to accommodate changes with your appointments. We stay busy, but we’re often able to get people in the same day if there is urgent need.
"I was so fortunate to have Dr. Brown and her team's help. Her comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan were so very beneficial for me. I was relieved to understand what was happening with my body in a way that I had not previously. Dr. Brown is a very experienced practitioner who sees from a holistic perspective. I love her assistants and office staff also. There is genuine interest in my well-being here and a healing space provided. Thank you!"
"Wish I'd found them years ago! I have been driving to Portland for chiropractors who were just fine. I hurt my back pretty badly, and a woman at my gym said to go see Dr. Wawra, he is the best. And I gotta say - he is! First person to accurately diagnose that it is a hip issue (which leads to a back issue) and I am making improvements and have an actual plan. I am in so much less pain. I really appreciate the amount of time he spends teaching me HOW we get back to normal and what specific aspects of health are related to what we are working on. Highly recommend."
"We were referred to Brown Chiropractic by a family friend and are incredibly grateful for the introduction. Not only was the office staff friendly, professional, and helpful, Dr. Siu has proven to be one of the most thorough, communicative, and knowledgeable healthcare professionals we have ever seen. This practice is patient-focused (even with minor-aged children) and has been able to provide relief to symptoms that have plagued us for several months. I highly recommend their services and sincerely appreciate the consideration and quality care they have provided our family."
"Brown Chiropractic has been a piece of my personal health care for the last several years. Not only do they address my chronic issues but are always extremely helpful with anything acute. Being a triathlete and hockey player, I depend on my body working hard for me. I appreciate the practice's ability to keep it running, pain-free. A special shout out for Dr. Andrew D!"

At Brown Chiropractic, we treat people, not conditions. Our first priority is to get to know our patients, their lifestyles, and their goals for care. This allows us to partner with them and together create a care plan that is both individualized and specific to their needs.
Our comprehensive evaluation process not only identifies painful tissues but also the root cause of the condition. This allows us to take our patients through a step-by-step plan that gets them out of pain quickly and with lasting results.
Patients often find they not only get out of pain but feel better than they ever could have imagined. This allows them to perform at a higher level in all aspects of their life.
Many aches and pains seem like they’re not a big deal, and you can usually ignore them, take some pain killers, or avoid activities that worsen the pain. The problem is, pain is your body’s way of communicating that something is wrong with that tissue. Without any obvious acute injury, it usually means your body is moving inefficiently and repeatedly irritating and stressing those tissues. If you have been nursing a nagging pain or injury that never healed correctly you may be slowly damaging your body or weakening it, predisposing it to future injury. In some cases, the tissue damage that accumulates cannot be reversed. This often means care takes longer and results take more effort to achieve.
A rotator cuff tear is a decades long process that starts with improper biomechanics of the shoulder joint with associated muscle imbalances and postural changes. Imagine your shoulder muscle and tendon is a rope and if you hit that rope with a rock repeatedly for years and years it will start to fray. You won’t cut through the rope quickly, but at some point, the fraying will cause enough weakness that suddenly it can tear, seeming like an acute injury.
Most disc herniations injuries seem acute, but they are usually a “straw that broke the camel’s back” type of situation. Meaning, if you have been bending with poor biomechanics and without bracing your core appropriately for years, and tears have been slowly developing in the disc, then fibers fully tear. Usually this happens with some mild activity like picking up a piece of paper or shaving your legs in the shower.
In both these examples, and in many other cases, Brown Chiropractic is well equipped to help prevent these mild aches and pains from becoming something severe and disabling. We do this by empowering our patients with tools to manage their own pains and movement dysfunction so they can avoid injuring themselves and unnecessarily wearing out tissues over time.
Pain can snowball in our lives causing interruptions in sleep and exercise. When our sleep and exercise is disrupted, our bodies chronically release stress hormones that have all kinds of negative effects on our tissues and organs. Pain distracts you, causing your brain to work less efficiently. We’ve had so many patients come see us after years and even decades of pain wishing they’d found a chiropractic approach sooner. They repeatedly communicate how significantly their pain impacted their overall health and wellbeing as well as their ability to work, play, and enjoy their family and life. When their pain was lifted, they felt as though their life had been restored to them.
