Dr. Colin Bettleyon

Dr. Bettleyon’s approach to patient care has been shaped by his experience with sports and his education in exercise science. He focuses on functional movement patterns, muscular imbalances, and rehabilitation to improve strength, reduce pain, and educate patients on injury prevention. Dr. Bettleyon completed a bachelor’s degree in exercise science at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he later completed a Doctor of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Bettleyon treats a wide spectrum of injuries that include: muscular strains, disc injuries, headaches, migraines, TMJ, shoulder dysfunction, and low back pain. Dr. Bettleyon utilizes numerous therapies, including, chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, cupping, scraping, and exercise therapy. His goals are to educate patients on how to heal and move, while guiding them through their care, so they can have a better quality of life.

Dr. Bettleyon, grew up in the state of Pennsylvania where he played baseball, football, soccer, and basketball. He sustained all kinds of different injuries where he underwent treatment with rehabilitative care, and is now a provider for patients so he can give the same great quality of care that he has received during his recovery. Playing many different sports growing up, Dr. Bettleyon, developed a passion for treating athletic injuries.

Dr. Bettleyon is a new resident to the state of Maine so he would love to hear suggestions on cool places to checkout. He enjoys exploring the state, traveling, has a love for food, breweries, sports, and trying new places.
